It’s almost time to officially welcome back fantasy football season!

Now that The Chalk is officially back on The Loop Sports we will be rolling out a ton of content before and during the NFL season. That starts today with my July rankings of WRs. You will find seven tiers. Why seven? It’s my favorite number that I’m convinced is lucky.

At the end of the rankings, you will also find “quick notes” on why certain players are where they are and sleepers I have I’m targeting. Keep in mind I’m not a huge numbers guy, but that doesn’t mean I don’t utilize them.

JULY RANKINGS – QB | RB

The eye test is much more important to me, along with my gut feeling. I am the most comfortable making decisions when using those two things. Make sure you also subscribe to our podcast as well. There will be a lot of exclusive content on there.

Quick Notes

-Let’s talk about the No. 1 player on my list: Davante Adams. He’s going to see an insane amount of targets. Aaron Rodgers wants him to get the ball more…so guess what? Adams is going to get the ball more. Last season, Adams led the NFL in red-zone targets. Expect that to continue in 2019.

-I feel like a lot of people are forgetting about AJ Green. Sure, he’s coming off an injury, but Andy Dalton is going to feed him the football. That’s why I have him at the top of tier three for July. Things could change once we get updates from training camp.

-Kenny Golladay felt like a steal last year…it’s much of the same this year. Yea, the Lions are dumb and they are going to try and run the ball more, but Golladay’s production, especially in the red-zone should continue to increase.
