I’ll admit, I’m not a huge fan of projecting a team’s 53-man roster early on in the preseason. Yes, that means, for once, I agree with my friend James Fox, but here we are. With a team with a roster as good as the Bears, there are not many open spots.
Football officially returned to Chicago on Thursday night.
The Chicago Bears hosted the Carolina Panthers in both team’s first preseason game. Not many starters for either team were out there when things got under way. Last year, the Bears had success by really limiting the amount of time their important players saw in the preseason.
In the last few years of Bears Training Camp, there have been questions in many different position groups. This year, we did not see that as much. Everyone seemed to be relatively confident across the board at all positions, and it felt like there wouldn’t be much worry placed on certain position groups.
